This draft was made by the German architect Fritz Ebhardt from Berlin. The idea was to build this monument at the famous Berlin race track AVUS. It was never realised. The authors are believing that it should be mentioned here.
Members of the Kraftfahrtruppen and Automobile-Corps were often also passionate race drivers. So it would have been meaningful, to place this monument at the AVUS race track. Unfortunately the AVUS is nowadays a part of the Berlin Autobahn. Environmental-preservation reasons and the political will of the Berlin administration ended the impressive history of this famous track.
