This is surely one of the most seldom and coveted badges that collectors are looking for worldwide, the Marine Aviator and Observer Badge of the Imperial Navy.
The very rare Navy Observers badge was introduced by the Kaiser with Navy Order Nr. 187, dated 1915. This gilded bronze badge consists of a wreath surrounding the perched and watchful Imperial Eagle. A stylized sun is rising in the background. This badge was awarded on completion of a combined minimum of 1000 km in flight military observations. The badge was also worn on the lower left breast.
